Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu 454g
  • 1 broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 1/2 cup snow peas
  • 1 red pepper, sliced
  • 10- 12 Brussel sprouts, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 large onion, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cup bean sprouts
  • 1/4 cup tamari

  • 2 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp arrowroot powder or corn starch ( optional)tofu_cut

Directions

  1. Cut tofu into bite sized pieces and put in a bowl
  2. Mix tamari, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, water and arrowroot together and pour over diced tofu
  3. Cover and let marinate in the fridge for  5 hours
  4. In a frying pan with a little olive oil stir fry onion, pepper, broccoli and Brussel sprouts for 5-10minutes. You may need to add a little water so they don’t dry out
  5. In a separate pan brown tofu. Once brown, add into the veggies with sauce and cook for a few more minutes to let sauce marinate the vegetables
  6. Add in snow peas and bean sprouts at the end of cooking and cook for a few minutes
