Healthy Salmon Burgers

Healthy Salmon Burgers

These healthy salmon burgers are easy to make. They are great for dinner or for lunch. Give them a try and let me know how you enjoy them. Serve with a side salad and sliced avocado or tomato on top.



  • 3 tins of wild pink salmon, drained
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • handful of fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice and a bit of lemon rind
  • 6 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp ground flax seed or 2 regular eggs
  • 1/2 cup almond flour or gluten free oats


  1. If using flax seed instead of eggs, mix with water and let sit for 10 minutes
  2. Add all ingredients to a bowl and if using oats, let sit for a few minutes.
  3. Form into patties
  4. Place on cast iron bbq grill, aluminum foil or cook in a frying pan with a little olive oil
  5. Serve with side salad, sliced avocado or tomatoes
