Here are 3 Simple ways To Manifest Your Deepest Desires!

I am fairly new to this whole manifesting thing, but I like it! I often wondered when people spoke of ways to manifest your deepest desires what they really meant.

Did you just sit and think of what you wanted?

Meditation– For the past couple of years I have been meditating. I started slowly, but soon over time it became a daily practice. One of my favourite CD’s is Deepak Chopra’s 21 Day Meditation Challenge- Creating Abundance. Each meditation is not overly long so for those of you who are super busy it’s easy to fit one a day into your life.

Many people say to me that they are too busy to meditate. I think that’s just an excuse. No one is too busy to meditate. It’s a choice. You can set your alarm 5 minutes earlier in the morning, or try meditating in the shower. What about on the bus or subway? Before you drop off to sleep, or in the bathtub at night. Turn off the TV and take a 10 minute break to simply get quiet.

Start by taking a few minutes every day to be silent and listen, go within to that sacred place and just concentrate on your breathing. Whether you repeat a Mantra (a word or phrase), or simply just concentrate on your breath, simply clearing your mind will be of great benefit to you.

Some simple phrases you might like to repeat while deep breathing are, “I invite unlimited abundance into my life”, “I am living my life with ease and gratitude”. You can repeat a word like “peace” over and over for a few minutes or a simple sound like omm. If your mind drifts away from your centering thought, simply bring it back gently to the repetition.

In the beginning when I first started to meditate I found it easier to follow along with a CD. There are many types of meditation that are online that you can choose from. Currently I have signed up for davidji’s free video series on cultivating mindfulness in your daily life. Click here for free access.

Gratitude is a wonderful thing to embrace. Whether you are rich or poor, healthy or sick, it is truly possible to feel gratitude and pass it on. Remember the movie Pay it Forward? Well, try it. It doesn’t have to cost anything. It can be smiling at a stranger that you pass by on the street. Helping an elderly person with their groceries, or letting someone with less produce go in front of you at the check-out lane at the supermarket. Allowing someone to merge into the traffic easily is always a nice thing to do. Pay for the next person in lines coffee at the drive through, or tell your child or parents you are proud of them and how grateful you are that they are in your life.

Manifesting Scrap Book – A really fun thing I have started to do is to create a manifesting scrap book. For this all you need is some coloured paper or Bristol board, a glue stick and some magazines. I go to a discount store to buy old magazines as it can get expensive if you are buying all new editions. Leaf through the magazines and if a picture or word catches your eye, cut it out. You can have themes or simply cut and paste pretty pictures into your scrap book. You could have a page devoted to love, career or play, perhaps a garden page or hobbies.

A few months ago I wanted to get off my sleeping medication and so I manifested a calm sleeping page in my scrapbook. I found pictures of little sheep sleeping in a baby blanket and a young child awakening with a big smile on her face, a picture of a moon and stars, well you get the idea. When I was struggling at night trying to fall asleep I would look through my manifesting scrap book at all the lovely, calming pictures of things I want to manifest into my life. I also would listen to calming meditation tracks and simply concentrate on my breath and imagine myself falling asleep with ease, waking happy and rested.

Remember as children we used to use or imagination? Well this is the time to use your imagination and create your abundant life!gratitude 1
