Making Healthy Eating Easy

??????????????????????????????????????

– One in three is expected to have diabetes by the year 2020

– This will be the first generation who may not outlive their parents.

Each generation seems to be getting sicker. We have more people on disability than ever before. Despite the governments claim that if we follow our healthy food guide that we will maintain a healthy life, these claims are far from the reality.

When we look back two or three generation we see that our ancestors ate locally farmed food. They were not dealing with GMOs ( genetically modified foods) or foods heavily laden with pesticides. They didn’t overeat and exercised more than we do today. High fructose corn syrup was not the main ingredient in pre-packaged foods and fast food restaurants were not on every corner.

Healthy living is a long term commitment, not something you do only once a year. By knowing and implementing healthier steps, it will help to pave the way for a healthier tomorrow.

Here’s a list of practical healthy living tips that will get you started on your healthier path
