Get your health on with this Chocolate Mint Shake

We all need healthy fat, in fact our brains crave it.

Our brain is 60% fat and if it doesn’t get enough healthy fat from our diet it starts to deteriorate and the beginnings of Alzheimer’s sets in. So why not make your own healthy “green chocolate mint shake” .

St Patricks Day Shake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup  full fat coconut milk ( I like Thai Kitchen Brand)
  • 1/2 large avocado
  • 1 tbsp pure cocoa ( I like Green & Blacks Organic Cocoa)
  • 1/2 cup So Delicious Coconut Milk Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
  • drop peppermint oil extract

Mix all ingredients in a high speed blender and eat with spoon. I keep a can of coconut milk in the fridge so that when I want to make a shake or a smoothie it is cold and ready to go. Yes the fat rises to the top but I simply empty the can into my blender and blend it up and pour it back into the can.

If you don’t use cold milk add in some ice cubes along with your ice cream to make it cold.
