Canada Day Raspberry Dessert

Raspberry Dessert for Canada Day- Dairy Free

Forget the Canada Day cake, make yourself a delicious, cold, chunky raspberry smoothie that you can eat with a spoon to celebrate our National Holiday.

It’s easy and so healthy! This is what you will need.


  • 1 cup cold full fat coconut milk
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 1 medjool date (pit removed)
  • 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract


  1. Place coconut milk in the fridge for a few hours or overnight (I always keep a can of Thai Kitchen Full Fat Coconut Milk in my fridge)
  2. Scoop out 1 cup of coconut milk from the top of the can and place in blender or Vitamix
  3. Add in date and vanilla and blend well
  4. Add in raspberries and blend slightly to leave chunks of raspberries
  5. Spoon into a glass jar and eat with a spoon
