Have you ever read the ingredients on the dog biscuits you buy for your dog? Hmm, not the healthiest of ingredients.

Today I set out to make some healthy doggy treats for our dog Buddy. Using only healthy dog friendly ingredients, they took only a few minutes to make.  Buddy waited anxiously for me to bake them, let them cook down and then try them.

Be sure to let me know if your pooch likes them too!

If you have a schnauzer you can add in a little bit of mashed banana- both my sister and friend have a schnauzer and they love bananas- Buddy does not like banana so I opted for pumpkin and applesauce.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup pumpkin pureedog treats 1

  • 1 tbsp smooth all natural peanut butter

  • 1/2 tsp ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
