A few months ago a client came to see me because her son had terrible eczema on his arms and legs.

She had been to the doctor and he had prescribed a steroid cream which worked for awhile, but then she noticed the eczema was coming back.

She felt like she was at the end of her rope, he son was miserable and she had no idea how to help him.

I asked her if she was willing to remove two foods from her sons diet, even the whole families diet and she said yes.

I proceeded to advise her to remove gluten and dairy from their diet and made up some menu plans and recipes for her and sent her on her way.

Two weeks later I received and email which said-

” Shirley, its a miracle, my sons eczema is gone and my acid reflux that I got every evening has disappeared as well, we can’t thank you enough”

  1. My daughter is 7 and has suffered from eczema her whole life. I have tried multiple creams and steroids that only work for so long. On top of her eczema she is allergic to dog, cats, horses, dust, cashews and pistachios. If there is anything you could recommend, I would be ever so greatful.
    Thank you

    1. With many clients I see that children do so much better when dairy, gluten, sugar and all additives are removed from their diet. eczema is really just inflammation int he body, and gluten, dairy, sugar cause inflammation. The more green ( alkaline foods) you can introduce into her diet the better. Water is important too. So many children are dehydrated. Also soaps, laundry detergents are full of phthalates and perfumes which can cause skin issues. You can go to ewg.org and buy only pure soaps, shampoos and creams., or find someone local who makes all natural, plant based soaps, shampoos and detergents. Even the “natural” big brand store detergents are still full of chemicals which make things foam, and clean and skin react. Happy if you would like to book a phone consult with me where I can help you more in depth.
