Best Ever Post- Workout Chocolate Smoothie

Whether you are runner, a cyclist or enjoy yoga, this smoothie will refuel you after your work-out. It’s important to include some plant protein ( for muscle repair) a carbohydrate, a healthy fat ( for healing and circulation) and fluids ( to rehydrate) after exercising.
Bananas– full of potatssium and will help to restore electrolytes.
Cocoa- rich in magnesium and anti oxidants, it will help you repair your muscles after a good work out.
Chiaseeds– full of protein, manganese and omega- 3 anti-oxidants which will help to reduce infllammation in your body
Hempseed- the perfect ratio of omega 3-6 anti- oxidants as well as containing Vitamin E and trace minerals
Avocado– chock full or fiber, potassium, B- Vitamins and folic acid

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond, hemp or coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp pure cocoa
  • 2 tbsp ground chiaseed
  • 2 tbsp hempseed
  • 1 frozen ripe banana
  • 1/2 small avocado

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth and enjoy!
