Delicious Alternatives is where I share healthy recipes, tips, advice and resources on how to prepare delicious, healthy meals for anyone dealing with food allergies, Celiac disease, food sensitivities and those who simply want to embrace a healthier way of living, yet aren’t sure where to begin.
I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and multiple food and environmental allergies in my twenties after a tragic accident where I lost my best friend. For years I went from doctor to doctor with no real answers or reason for hope. My life was filled with pain, sadness and anxiety. I lacked the energy or knowledge to know what to eat or how to prepare healthy recipes that avoided the foods that my body reacted to.
What I learned along the way transformed my health and my life forever- through studying nutrition, embracing healthy whole cooking, meditating and learning about energy medicine I soon realized that traumas can get lodged in your tissues and contribute to illness. Finding the right health practitioners and knowing which foods were best for my body type allowed my life and health to improve.
I don’t want anyone to have to go through what I did- the unanswered questions, feeling alone, wondering what was safe to eat, where to shop for healthy allergy-free foods or how to prepare recipes that didn’t take hours to make and cost a fortune.
I know I can help you change your life for the better, just as I did.
What we eat does affect our health! My passion is sharing what I have learned with anyone who is ready. We are all different and no one diet or dietary regime is right for everyone, so I offer one-on-one nutrition coaching sessions, which include a dietary assessment, customized menu plans and/or recipes to meet your specific dietary needs. I also customize rotation and or elimination diets for those who have multiple food sensitivities and are still reacting despite eliminating their trigger foods. I offer online programs that help people to remove the very foods from their diet that are making them unwell. I have helped thousands of people learn how to prepare foods that will help them thrive and feel their best. Through my consults, recipes, and online programs you’ll receive simple, and practical advice as well as the support you need to know what to shop for, prepare and enjoy knowing you are creating your best life.
